Sportsman Education ClassesChandler Rod and Gun club takes great pride in presenting one of Arizona's Our courses are designed to provide hunters with a solid introduction to hunting. Students can expect training aimed at promoting the safe enjoyment of the hunt. While safety in the outdoors is certainly a primary goal for our Sportsman's Education Courses, this is way more than a hunters safety course. Instructors place a strong emphasis on hunter respect and responsiblity. Ethics are a personal thing that each student must examine for themselves. Classroom discussions prompt students to examine their personal ethics and consider how others will perceive their actions. Our instructors are experts in their field. There will be exhibition of equipment and demonstrations of techniques that will help students find success in the field. Our field day is always a hit with our students. Instuctors and former students put on an amazing demonstration of firearms and their effectiveness. Throughout the day, students will get the opportunity to demonstrate that they can safely enjoy the outdoors. Under the supervision of our instructors, students will recieve experience firing firearms and gain exposure to the joy of archery equipment. Students will participate in a simulated hunt and receive training in game recovery. Although the entire day is actually a test, it will be the most fun test that students ever take.
